Harsh Kapoor, VP Engineering and CTO Innovaide Inc.

Harsh Kapoor is instrumental in bringing the technology focus at Innovaide Inc. In the role of VP engineering and CTO, Harsh is responsible for managing the engineering team and technology/IP development at Innovaide.

Harsh has more than two decades of entrepreneurial and senior engineering management experience with both public and private companies. As an entrepreneur, Harsh founded two companies and co-authored multiple patents in the areas of Internet security, Ethernet quality of service and traffic management. Most recently, Harsh was the VP engineering and CTO at Crossbeam systems. At Crossbeam Systems, Harsh was responsible for the architecture and development of next generation networking security systems. Prior to that Harsh co-founded and was vice president of engineering of Appian Communications.

Under his leadership, Appian produced a state-of-the-art system architecture for a carrier-class product that has been deployed at NTT-Japan, one of the world's largest telecommunications companies. Prior to Appian, Harsh co-founded and served as vice president of engineering of Nexlan, a next-generation Ethernet switch company that was purchased by 3Com in 1996. Harsh started his career in the engineering organizations of GTE and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Harsh holds an MSEE degree from University of Maryland, College Park.
